Lights performs November 13, 2014 at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco, California
Lights

Lights hit San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom last night in support of her September release of her third full-length album, Little Machines.

The evening kicked off with openers Wild Party ripping through their 35 minute set, and after a brief 20 minute stage change, Lights took the stage shortly before 9 pm to calls of adoring love from the dudes in the room.  From the looks of things, the near-capacity crowd had gotten the memo that this would be an early night and arrived ready to pack the floor in front of the stage in anticipation of her set.

With three years having passed since the release of Siberia, Lights was clearly ready to tread some new ground, kicking the night off with Muscle Memory and proceeding to dedicated a whopping 9 songs of the 17 song set to material from the new album.  For their part, the fans couldn’t have been happier … obviously already well-familiar with the  material, they sang along word-for-word.

For her part, Lights couldn’t have been more spot-on as she switched between keyboards and guitar .. wowing the crowd with her vocals during her 1:20 set.
