Steel Panther performs on March 23, 2013 at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco, California

There’s no party quite like a Steel Panther party … boozed-fueled middle-agers reliving their glory days, animal-print spandex, teased hair (mostly fake) and plenty of women willing to bare their breasts in front of 1,200-ish strangers. As a special surprise for the crowd at San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom, Phil Demmel of Machine Head joined the band on guitar for “Asian Hooker” though I would venture to guess that only a small fraction of the crowd had any idea who he was. Regardless the crowd had a good time and it’s a certainty that the Regency was able to cover the band’s fee on alcohol sales alone.

Setlist:

  • Eyes Of A Panther
  • Tomorrow Night
  • Just Like Tiger Woods
  • That’s What Girls Are For
  • Gold-Digging Whore
  • If You Really Really Love Me
  • Critter
  • Community Property
  • Girl From Oklahoma
  • Asian Hooker
  • Turn Out The Lights
  • Fat Girl
  • Death to All But Metal

–Encore–

  • Party All Day
  • 17 Girls in a Row

Supporting act: Hillbilly Herald
