There's no party quite like a Steel Panther party ... boozed-fueled middle-agers reliving their glory days, animal-print spandex, teased hair (mostly fake) and plenty of women willing to bare their breasts in front of 1,200-ish strangers. Steel Panther brought it all to the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on March 23, 2013.

There’s no party quite like a Steel Panther party … boozed-fueled middle-agers reliving their glory days, animal-print spandex, teased hair (mostly fake) and plenty of women willing to bare their breasts in front of 1,200-ish strangers. As a special surprise for the crowd at San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom, Phil Demmel of Machine Head joined the band on guitar for “Asian Hooker” though I would venture to guess that only a small fraction of the crowd had any idea who he was. Regardless the crowd had a good time and it’s a certainty that the Regency was able to cover the band’s fee on alcohol sales alone.
