Every month, First Fridays in Oakland brings Hoodslam to the Oakland Metro Operahouse. With local heroes ArnoCorps on the bill and tickets only available at the door, the line snaked around the block and the house quickly packed to capacity leaving a sizable number of people stuck outside when the action started promptly at 9 pm. For $20, those lucky enough to get through the door received 3+ hours of wrestling excitement peppered with four mini-sets by ArnoCorps which wrapped up the night with with non-other than Jello Biafra joining them on stage for the Dead Kennedy's classic, California Über Alles.
